Big typhoon = no classes, and I basically spent the past two days working my little ass off for Red Threads. I am immeasurably happy because of this, as I was able to finish cutting and painting a record-breaking ten plushie heads. Not my average 2 or 3, but 10. 10!!!

*deliriously happy*

Also started coloring a couple of POT prints/postcards for Yaoi!Con, and I'm /this/ close to finishing the colors on Ellaine's back-breaking Gundamn Wing print. (Thank you, darling, for putting all those goddamn floating feathers. T_T)

Also putting up a new icon, because I realized I had space for one more! :D *sighs happily*

I love being on schedule. I love being able to finish work. I am in SUCH a good mood. :D

Red Threads' stuff is going to YaoiCon courtesy of Pixx's merchant booth, but the artists will unfortunately remain in Manila. Lol.

If all goes well, there's a big chance we'll be going next year, though. ^_^;;

Completely unrelated comment - have you seen or heard of the Filipino movie 'The Masseur', and if so, is it any good? I saw a small write-up in the guide for the upcoming film festival and I'm wondering if it's worth going to see.

There's so many movies that look good, and knowing me, I probably won't get around to seeing any of them. But there are at least three on my 'to see' list.

Well, the screencap they had in the guide for it had a rather pretty boy kissing his way down another man's chest, and he was looking up at him in that adorable 'is this alright?' sort of way.

The blurb is here, but they didn't include the picture. *pouts* I don't know that I'd be able to talk Lachlan into seeing it with me. I want to watch it both from the POV of a former sex worker, and for the mansex.

I just found it on ebay for US$13. I'm reeeeeally thinking about it. I mean, it's not going to cost me that much more to buy than to go and see in the cinema. And I don't feel ashamed to watch movies by myself at home, but I wouldn't go alone to the cinema.

Although I might add to that, I don't know if the one being sold on ebay has English subtitles. Is it common for movies in Tagalog to be subbed in English, or only on export copies?

Looking on google, it seems that this movie has hit every major film festival since it came out last year.

Lol! The Philippine YaoiCon is over for this year, but we're selling our comics and art at the American YaoiCon via a friend. She'll get our stuff published there na... much simpler, plus walang shipping. Babayaran ko lang siya para sa publishing bills.

Nga pala, I finished the first plushie already. The one with removable pants. I made some changes na lang (glued a strip of felt sa waist part) para di masira pag sinusuot.^^;;

Still have to figure out how to make the removable shorts though.XO
