POT Bookmarks, finally. *_* (Here's hoping my connection holds out long enough to post them. XD) These are for serenia, lethanon, and pixxers. (Supposedly New Year's bookmarks, but yeah. Almost two weeks late, thank you very much. ;______;

I decided to take today off, as Klaine slept over the night before to work on Red Threads commissions and projects. We managed to get a lot of work done between the two of us, hence the resulting unclenching of my entire body. *breathes marginal sigh of relief*

Read through my F-list a bit, drew a bit, and am now trying to finish various bits and pieces of fic. It's been so long since I wrote a story that I didn't need for my thesis or an RT project or whatever, and it's a strange and somewhat daunting experience. Heh.

I'm trying to decide if I want to post the Tezuka/Oishi art I drew, as it's a little different from what I usually draw. Lol. (The style is pretty much my regular fare, but dood. I drew TezuOishi wtf. XDDDD)

I am thoroughly enjoying my few days of calm before the storm (uni started yesterday), and my better half has been plying me with squee-worthy bribes. Pixxers wrote this: http://pixxers.livejournal.com/490528.html And you should all go and read it because Chitose/Tachibana is hard to find, and well-written Chitose/Tachibana was probably non-existent til yesterday. To that effect, I told her I would match every fic she wrote with this pairing in it with one piece of fanart. (Tailored to any scene found in the fic, of course.) This is why Tachibana is wearing a Shitenhouji uniform, and Kamio is in Rokkaku red. Seriously. Go read the fic. XD

It's incredibly fun to work with, and though there are a lot of visible mistakes, I realized that this is actually a good thing. Not having an 'undo' or 'back' button is making me a lot smarter when picking out colors, lol.

Whee! Finally finished my POT Christmas Card. I'll be going down to the printers tomorrow to get it done and then I'll send out all my cards asap. :) For once, I am not late, lol!

A lot of sad stuff has been happening in my life recently, but every now and then I get a little bit of sunshine dropped into my lap. :)

I haven't painted anything without some sort of deadline in a long time, and doing this particular piece was therapeutic. It started out as my entry for the Art Challenger community's first challenge, but eventually I took it quite seriously and got carried away. Lol.

Big typhoon = no classes, and I basically spent the past two days working my little ass off for Red Threads. I am immeasurably happy because of this, as I was able to finish cutting and painting a record-breaking ten plushie heads. Not my average 2 or 3, but 10. 10!!!

*deliriously happy*

Also started coloring a couple of POT prints/postcards for Yaoi!Con, and I'm /this/ close to finishing the colors on Ellaine's back-breaking Gundamn Wing print. (Thank you, darling, for putting all those goddamn floating feathers. T_T)

Also putting up a new icon, because I realized I had space for one more! :D *sighs happily*

I love being on schedule. I love being able to finish work. I am in SUCH a good mood. :D

I've been doing these commissions over the past few weeks, and I thought you all might want to take a look. :)

There's one tenipuri (Akutsu, Tachibana, Shinji - NC-17, not worksafe), three originals (variable xy posters), and one watercolor piece (non-anime). I'm also sticking my Konishi (he played Ibu Shinji in the tenimyus) painting here. :)

The Story-In-My-Head goes like this: Tachibana and Kamio decide to open a cafe, and they get Tezuka to be their accountant and occassionally three-way partner. XD (He does this in between bouts of Pillar!sex with Ryoma, who in turn is also sleeping with Fuji, who's cheating on him with his brother.)

*ahem*



Anyway, the only people who go to this cafe are BL couples, hence the Leorio and Kurapika plushies. And also, Kagi from Whistle is their head waiter, simply because he's so hot. And Kamio thinks he looks like Kippei, back when he had long hair. XDDD

POT Fanart: Tachibana x Kamio, Fudomine Clubroom.

This was for my better half's birthday, but my life exploded during that time and I wasn't able to finish it. I've been doing nothing but drawing this evening, and one of the things I finished/ started doing was this pic. ^_^

Pixx has already seen it, but I thought you guys might appreciate a look as well. It's easily the most... intense... drawing I've ever done. It's not pornographic at all, but the /feel/ of it overpowers the need for nudity, I think. Nevertheless, this is NOT work safe, so tread carefully. ^___^

*sighs* It's been a tough past few weeks financially for me, and yesterday my laptop stopped reading its hard disk. I don't even want to think about how depressed this makes me, because every single story I've written in the past six years was on the damned thing (not backed-up because I mistakenly thought it was stable enough to not warrant it).

In any case, I brought it in today and the repairs are going to cost me a pretty penny. Coupled with all my recent PC costs, I just can't afford this right now. >_<

I realize that this isn't anyone's problem but my own, but just in case anyone on my F-list was wanting an art commission or two, I just wanted to pimp my services again. I just finished the last piece on my queue today, so if anyone's interested in hiring me, I'd greatly appreciate the help.

I only charge $40 per anime commission; (painterly/realistic pieces are priced differently and can be looked up at my professional art site http://redtrinity.com). I don't have squicks-- hell, I'll even do het.
